Great with worktop in stone but it's also a bit expensive. Maintenance-free and great to work on. Ikea also sells stone worktops available for purchase (about $ 4300 per meter at Ikea but depends on the depth / thickness). Cooking island on my own kitchen has stone countertop and is one of the things that stood at the top of the wish list when we renovated the house. Just Amazing :)
Glass built by ground (37 cm deep) drawer module and 2 wall cabinets with glass doors (each module is 70 cm high). Although a glazed cabinets are located to the rear of the cooking island so it is roomy with space to dine hook. Access to locker No. 7 on the plan during the cabinet No. 8 ..... Wide cabinet module cabinets No. 8 and not die front cabinets No. 7 ('ll explain this further if it is relevant and I know that Tove handyman kitchen island who can fix this) .
I thought drawing the previous solution with corners in Ikea plan shoulder but dropping it since the solution whatever was not quite good. New terms have emerged and have enough twist a little more on the solution over here .......... are somehow not good before "gut feeling" is good ;)

The boss liked this :) We look at the drawings and discussing big here: O) We are a bit skeptical about The cabinet, but it's just blueberries. Liked that the sink is set more to the right of the bench space I've had there has never been properly used. Exciting!! Pinching from us ;)
Comes with a variant where The cabinet is changed slightly maybe tomorrow ..... plus some additional changes ;) You have to remember that there are quite a lot of cabinets that are removed in the middle of the room there and nice to have room to put fine dishes ;)
This solution was "knæsj" kitchen island I think! She could enentuelt have a side table hanging in the window, do you get it at IKEA. It will be exciting to see what she decides. Enjoy Sunday. Hugs from Kristin
Hello! This solution was fighting kitchen island classy! Coming just as well with a little input, hope it's okay! If that's the way that you do not want The cabinet but need more space .... it is possible to have the exterior of the kitchen island higher. Then one whose work involves little more, retains the feeling of space, get a "natural partition" between the kitchen kitchen island and dining room and best of all - you do not see the mess in the kitchen when you are sitting at the table! We have a solution (with peninsula, though), and am very happy with it! http://barbroslilleverden.blogspot.com/2010/07/kjkken-fr-og-etteradvarer-mot-sterke.html Glimpsing barely in this picture, but! Good luck with further work, this will be good! Hugs, Barbara
