Brussels is the capital of Belgium, but all over the capital of Europe. It is home to many institutions of the European Union and NATO. Brussels has so many attractions that it is hard to enumerate all and much less visit during a visit of several days. Just remember the magnificent central square, the Grand Place, a mischievous boy statue Manneken Pisa, the magnificent cathedral, the Atomium and EXPO, fun park Mini Europe, royal palaces, parks, comics, chocolate and finally the magnificent modern building of a united Europe. The reason for the visit was a fair LabelExpo Brussels which takes place from 24-27.9.2013 and that is one of the largest fairs designed everything to be for making and applying labels. More about the fair look at www.pakiranje.net.
In Brussels we arrived by plane from Ryanair Rivers on Monday. The flight lasted one hour and ten minutes. After a one-hour bus ride Flibco from Charleroi airport terminal at Gare du Midi settled in Barry hotel in the very center of the city on the square Anneessens. The hotel was chosen because it was renovated, but the rooms are ridiculously small and spartan decorated in bathroom practically non stop. No way to recommend. The aim of our visit was the visit to the fair Label Expo 2013, but due to the schedule of flights was plenty of time for sightseers. The recommendation is to take Brussels Card, the card can drive a free public transport and free to enter thirty museums. In the other you have a discount, as well as some shops and restaurants. Use these 24 ( 24), 48 ( 34) or 72 ( 40) hours of the first entry. For children under 12 years free. Take a look at the www.brusselscard.be.
Exchange We walked up the boulevard Anspach Exchange building, which is located ex display kitchens on the second most important square in the city. At the beginning ex display kitchens of the 19th century there were traded butter, and by the end of the century, and other goods. Today is no longer traded or stock exchanges after the unification of several countries. The building was constructed in the period 1868 do1873. There was an exhibition dedicated to Leonardo da Vinci. There is on the left and the archaeological site Bruxela, the Franciscan monastery upon building 1238.godine. Has long played an important role in the city. Around are restaurants and a little further the main square. We went to a small square of Saint Gery with the former market building, which was converted into a community house. On the square are many bistros and where young people gather.
St.Catherine Then we went to the Church of St.Catherine besides that stretches 350 meters long plaza with fountains, restaurants and terraces. If you believe Jamie Oliver, there is a "gut Brussels" with a green market (Wednesday-Saturday) and lots of good and not so expensive restaurants. Although Brussels ex display kitchens is not on the sea, very much a fish restaurant. Belgian national dish clams in white wine and shrimp croquettes. Their invention is the fries, which are unjustifiably called French fries. Belgian waffles are a specialty, that were made at each step. They can be sent and
