(All tekst og images of Aja) As a 21-year-olds I bought, Aja, and my husband Christian, our own first house was an old house from the 1920s. The foundation we renovated three years and during that time was awakened our interest in old buildings. When we got to make the decision where the children would start school, we concluded that we want to move back to our home area. There, we investigated long after an old house to renovate but found no good options. Since we already renovated / built / decorated together for three years and realized that there is a strong common interest we dared us on a project of some larger scale, namely to move an old house! After a lot of searching, we found this beautiful vintage kitchen abandoned house that the owners had plans to do if the tractor garage, but we had to buy it instead! It was just start tearing!
We knew this would last a long time so to get to the right place, we bought this little house to live in during construction. Also it needed a little renovation since it was taken water, sewer and had not been inhabited for 40 years. Here we have also now been living for six years and started the store, Lundagård and the companies we work in. (The little yellow house in the picture is a church toilet as we moved and saved from demolition, it is now on our farm.)
A week ago we moved into the house and is now with the interior. All is far from finished yet. In terms of construction, carpentry and materials, we try to make use of the materials and methods that they have done before. As for the decor, we are no real style but mixes freely with colors and shapes, ranging from rustic furniture to 60th century gadgets vintage kitchen and industrial objects and furniture.

Since we did not find an old house with an old farmyard and buildings so we also look forward to the future build or move several outbuildings to the farm to create the feeling of an old enclosed courtyard.
